Mojstrana, three-room apartment in the heart of Triglav National Park, in the Vrata Valley
The Vrata Valley is the largest glacial valley on the northern side of the Julian Alps. It stretches from Mojstrana to the foot of the mighty northern face of Triglav. Along the green valley, surrounded by high peaks, you first ascend past the two Peričnik waterfalls, then the path along the Triglavska Bistrica stream leads to the Aljaž Lodge in Vrata, the starting point for excursions and high-mountain tours to Triglav, Škrlatica, Križ Plateau, and other peaks.
The multi-residential building housing the apartment stands in the first part of the valley, about one kilometer from the last houses in Mojstrana and approximately 300 meters beyond the barrier that restricts entry into the valley. This restriction, of course, does not apply to residents. Just a few meters from the building flows the Triglavska Bistrica stream, which gives the location a special charm.
The apartment is located in the attic of a renovated multi-residential building, organized as condominium ownership with seven residential units. It is in excellent condition, fully renovated, modernly arranged and furnished. It has also been used for long-term or short-term rental, while at the same time representing an ideal opportunity for those seeking a base for high-mountain tours or a peaceful holiday or permanent residence embraced by the unspoiled nature of Triglav National Park – with free access through the barrier.
The apartment comprises: an entrance hall, a study, an open living area with kitchen, dining room, and living room, from which there is access to a balcony with a beautiful view of the valley, followed by a bedroom and a children's room, as well as a bathroom.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2019: all floor coverings, interior plaster, installations were replaced, new windows and doors were installed, and all new furniture and equipment were purchased. In 2024, a new roof with thermal insulation was installed on the building, further improving the apartment’s energy efficiency.
The total area of the apartment is 67.80 m2, of which 59.80 m2 is usable living space, and the balcony measures 8 m2.
The building was originally constructed around 1850, renovated several times in different periods, with the last major general renovation taking place around 1980. The new roof was installed in 2024.
The apartment is fully furnished and suitable both for holiday and permanent residence.
The seller conditions the sale on the buyer reimbursing part of the costs incurred during the sale of the property.
